Catherine Thal-Larsen, RN, FNP
Hello friends. I am a native of Virginia, who resides in Maryland with my husband and teenage son. My older 2 children have moved on to higher education. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at George Mason University in 1990 then worked at Georgetown Hospital in Med/Surg before returning to George Mason University in 1992. I received my Masters of Science in Nursing and ANCC certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1995.
Upon graduation, I worked in the primary care/urgent care setting for several years while also working at the Family Allergy Center. I have worked exclusively at the Family Allergy Center since 1998. I see adult & pediatric allergy, asthma and other allergic diseases. I have worked alongside Dr. Bergman and Dr. Smith for the length of my career and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I have watched this practice grow and change for the past 25 years and still care for some of our original patients.
We have experienced and dedicated staff, some of whom have been with us through this entire journey as well. I have had the opportunity and privilege of seeing some of my patients who were children when I first started bring in their children for treatment and care. It truly is the Family Allergy Center!!!
